TV Team
Due to changes to news day at the beginning of 2020, it meant that I had to adapt as our team had halved in size. This meant we had to think carefully about what footage and stories we wanted from each group as we had less choice when choosing stories to include in the bulletins.

My colleague and I both wanted to present the bulletin, so we decided we would present it together as a second year presented the 2-minute bulletin in the afternoon. In Multimedia Journalism, we had never had more than one presenter before, so we made sure our script flowed well for two presenters, sharing the workload.
Presenting the TV bulletin has shown me that I have improved massively since first year. My confidence has improved and so have my skills in presenting. I know how to change my voice and tone depending on the story, and I have worked and improved my pace when speaking as well. If I stumble, I know how to quickly carry on and stay professional.

I also helped produce the bulletin and was vision mixer. I have volunteered to help with this part of news day many times as I know how stressful it can be finding people to do it, and I love working on the TV team.
